Hello there, angel from my nightmare.

So it’s day 84 here in chilly Shanghai. I’ve realized I haven’t blogged since forever, not even on my louinshanghai blogspot. No one reads it anyway…maybe only my aunt. Anyway it’s another 49 more days before I’m back on my sunny island, and already I feel that time has passed so fast, and it will only pass faster as I’m drawing to a close on this internship. I would feel more lost if not for my final two semesters to be completed when I go back. Internships get you thinking about careers. And that’s not necessarily a good thing. One thing I definitely learned during my internship - I ain’t looking forward to the corporate world, it just eats you up in more ways than you can imagine.

For now, I just can’t wait to be home. Problems can deal with themselves later.

Why China, why won’t you approve this screening?

Just watched The Help. Emma Stone just made it 5x better, though the film didn’t need her in the cast to be as good as it was. The storyline itself was heartwarming and insightful, and easily one of the better movies I’ve seenin recent years. Made me cry. I can never ever imagine myself going through what those women went through back then.
